POSITION SUMMARY
The Emergency Nurse works as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team that includes Board Certified ED Physicians, NP’s and PA’s, and ED Tech’s (LPN/EMT-A), with additional support from Critical Care Float RN’s, Peer Recovery coaches, and tele-ED services. The Emergency Nurse provides safe, effective, and compassionate care to patients utilizing the nursing process to triage, provide initial and ongoing assessment, implement nursing interventions, and provide discharge teaching to adult and pediatric patients requiring emergent/urgent or critical care. The Emergency Department sees over 15,000 patients per year, and is the perfect position for an Emergency Nurse looking for a fast-paced, stimulating, and rewarding work environment.
